Notoriously known for being inaccessible to the masses, haute couture was and is still not readily available to be produced in big quantities. Handmade in limited quantities, haute couture was meant for the super wealthy clients of the atelier. Even though brands present their collection at haute couture week, a lot of what you see on the runway isn't readily available either.
In this case, we have an Emanuel Ungaro Haute Couture top from their Spring 1999 collection. A stunning piece on its own, this lacy lavender halter top features a ruffle detail at the chest and a bodycon silhouette.
