The City bag is BACK and bigger than ever! A timeless staple since the early 2000s, Balenciaga’s City has always been THAT Girl energy thanks to all the “It” girls who wore them from Kate Moss (who was gifted one) to Mary-Kate Olsen, who infamously trashed hers with red wine.
With Bella Hadid and Kim Kardashian leading the revival, the City’s longevity and timelessness are proof that it never went out of style. Despite the brand not producing it during the pandemic, The City’s revival in 2024 is proof that all love is never lost!
The grey colorway (dubbed Gris Glace) was made Balenciaga’s S/S 2014 season, which was designed by Alexander Wang.
The lilac colorway (dubbed Glycine) was made for Balenciaga’s S/S 2012 season, which was designed by the City’s creator Nicolas Ghesquiere.
